St.Croix Forge SureFit Xtra

Wide web and shaped for a perimeter fit

This shoe is modeled after the lighter SureFit model, with added thickness and width for improved durability, protection and support. Sizes 0 and 1 are a full 5/16" thick, and the 2 and 3 jumps up to 3/8". This shoe is easily shaped ideally suited for a perimeter fit, and the V crease improves nail-to-shoe fit. They are punched for an SB5 nails.

The St Croix Sure Fit Extra is the #1 shoe in my truck. It has appropriate front and hind shapes, appropriate section and enough steel to be able to forge any modification needed. In my opinion, it's a true keg shoe.
